In the woodworking industry many varieties and large volumes of adhesive are finding their way to the market. Besides adhesives, we also see a growing trend towards sealants. Many woodworking industries produce timber window frames.

These window frames will not only be constructed using adhesive, but the shop will also directly install the glass and therefore also the glazing sealants. Besides window frames, many woodworking shops also make and supply “ready-to-use” items that can be installed directly in a domestic house or a commercial building. Many of these woodworking shops will also install their item themselves. Compatibility, speed, durability and sustainability and in some cases paintability are critical to determine the most suitable adhesive and sealant.

To follow these trends and market requirements Den Braven offers a complete portfolio of adhesives such as traditional PVAC adhesives and the more popular polyurethane adhesives. Classical solvent containing adhesive will make way for adhesives based on polyurethane and hybrid based sealants.

For finished wood, Den Braven is able to supply a full range of putties and fillers in all kinds of easy and convenient packaging types. For interior applications the polyester based products are popular for their curing speed and sanding properties. Den Braven does not recommend to apply these polyester based products outdoors. For these applications Den Braven offers the unique family of flexible water based extreme durable epoxy based fillers, Zwaluw Repox® and Zwaluw Repox® fast.
