For sealing and bonding floors and floor coverings we encounter a wide variety of application possibilities. Examples for floor joint sealing are dialatation joints in cement and concrete based floors and joints in pedestrian walkways, for example,in floor joints designed for public areas, movement joints between concrete slabs, areas with pedestrian load, areas used with trolleys, walkable floors, balconies, terraces and warehouses. Regulations and demands of such joints may vary but the common denominators are the performance characteristics of a high elasticity and mechanical resistance.

Den Braven offers a complete portfolio of high-end joint sealing products and ancillaries for the above mentioned situations. Along with the standard floor joint sealants, Den Braven also offers self-levelling floor joint sealants for the same application but will give a time advantage and a more simplified application method. All products that Den Braven is offering in this portfolio are tested and certified according to EN 15651 part 4, Pedestrian Walkway. In this part of the CE Marking for joint sealants in pedestrian walkways, the sealants will be submitted to tests if they will be applied in movement joints in floors in building construction for interior and exterior use.

Another topic is to adhere floor coverings. In this particular field the combinations and applications are almost unlimited. Floor coverings can be made out of textile, plastics, wood, ceramic and natural stone tiles or in situ poured floors. For adhering wooden floors Den Braven offers different durable adhesive technologies that differ in viscosity and packaging options. Den Braven also has solutions for sealing and repairing wooden floors.
